Brentwood Baseball Picks up an EXCITING Win over perennial Power Patchogue-Medford. It took 8 strong innings of excellent defense and outstanding pitching and your Brentwood Baseball team pulled out an exciting win. That was a Brentwood win like in the "old days" said home plate umpire Joe Canniazarro "Excellent pitching and playing defense". With 2 outs John Heyder walk off game winning single drove in Kelvin Mancebo in the bottom of the 8th to win the game for the Indians. Sophomore Joe Maselli pitched a complete game allowing only two hits, walking two and striking out three. Coach LoCova in his excitement said "I couldn't be prouder of my team, we battle every inning of every game, this is a testament of the boys hard work throughout the year"
