BRENTWOOD SCHOOL DISTRICT ANONYMOUS TIP LINE  At their regularly scheduled meeting on September 22, 2005, the Brentwood Board of Education approved the establishment of an Investigative Tip Line.  The tip line, which is 100% anonymous, has been established for the purpose of informing district administration of non-resident students who are attending the Brentwood Public Schools. The number for the Investigative Tip Line is: (631) 231-0592. Any messages left on the answering machine tip line will be forwarded to the appropriate administrator(s).

It is the Brentwood Union Free School District’s policy, as in most Long Island public school districts, to photograph or film students and staff as they go about the gratifying business of learning and succeeding in school.  If you do not wish to have your child photographed and/or videotaped, you must submit your request in writing to Dr. Monique Darrisaw-Akil, Director of Programs and Policy.  Group or full-class photographs and videotapes should not be included in your request.

GANG INFORMATION HOTLINE The Suffolk County Probation Department has posted its web page valuable information about the identifying characteristics of gangs as well as the warning signs of gang activity.  The information is available in both English and Spanish at suffolkcountyny.gov.  Select 'Departments', then 'Probation'. The department has also developed a Gang Information Hotline at (631) 852-5075 and email address: ganginfo@suffolkcountyny.gov, which can be used to seek help or report signs of gang activity.  All calls and emails are kept confidential
